It's final dress rehearsal time at Bellytrance HQ and all is looking fabulous and ready for filming on Saturday. Final touches are being put to costumes in the form of earrings created by the very talented Katrina Robinson-Brown. Finance-wise the team have raised around $487 which covers most of the costumes and rehearsal costs and is an awesome contribution. Thanks to all who have donated! However, we still need your help. We need petrol money to get us and several crew members around York on shoot day (£20/about $32), DVD duplication and packaging for 100 DVDs (£125/about $200), the rest of rehearsal room hire bill (£39/about $64), room hire for screening (£100/about $165) and around £50/about $82 for miscellaneous shoot items (spare batteries, etc!) - anything you can give to help would be appreciated. Check out the Indiegogo campaign page which is now up and running to help raise funds for the creation of the Bellytrance video. Any help you can give is appreciated and there are various rewards listed on the campaign page depending on how much cash you part with. However, if you are, like 90 percent of the population, reeling under the effects of yet more government cuts but would still like to help, please get in touch. We are desperate for gear toters, tame audience, people to fend off enquiries from the public, and there is at least once vacancy for someone to look important with a clipboard. Is this you? Blue Electric Angel - Bellytrance
The history:
Bellytrance is an electronica-bellydance fusion track written by Blue Electric Angel (Casee Wilson) and first played publically at the 30th birthday party of Vicky Deighton in August 2009.
Shortly afterwards Elaine Batchelor choreographed a bellydance to Bellytrance - a dance which will form the basis of the Blue Electric Angel music video.
Filmmaker Emma Crossland has kindly come on board and agreed to film and produce the video.
The video will be set and filmed in York and will star Casee Wilson, Danella Carter, Elaine Batchelor and Vicky Deighton performing the dance in various locations around the city.

So here's where you can help and get involved. We need friends and fans willing to spare a little time and maybe a little cash to help make this project awesome.
Spread the word, join the facebook group (Blue Electric Angel - Bellytrance Video),
come down to the filming on the 4th June and give us a hand... any support or help you can give is welcome.
If you help us in any way you will be invited to the screening party and receive a copy of the finished video on dvd.

The project is entirely self funded and the team will need to raise around £650 to cover costumes, materials and filming expenses.
